Taylor is a San Diegan native who has lived in Philly for the past two years (by way of NJ). Though no longer an active member, she is a founding member of the Philly Coalition for REAL ( Racial, Economic, and Legal) Justice as well as the co-founder of the BLM Chapter in Philly. Taylor considers herself both a food educator and a preacher-activist. Her mission is to helps folks in her community use real food as a way to build resiliency and wellness and to grow their own food as an act of self-determination. She has an academic background in both biology and theology. Currently, Taylor works at The Food Trust and is working towards teaching cooking/nutrition and herbalist classes and workshops as well as being a black urban farmer full time.
