Michael brings together a background in agricultural and biological systems engineering, sustainable, organic and bio-intensive agriculture, project management, permaculture, urban farming, edible landscaping, carpentry, construction, community organizing, and the experience gained from volunteering with an immense amount of organizations.

He is a landscape designer and community organizer who is currently working to bring a food forest to the city of Philadelphia. His work also currently includes management of an urban farm in Germantown, historical and cultural heritage gardens, community garden development, permaculture installation, fine gardening, construction, event coordination, activism, and multifaceted collaboration.
