Ellen Skilton is a Founding Board Member of Just Act, an arts-based catalyst for community & personal change in Philadelphia. Skilton is also an Associate Professor of Education at Arcadia University where she coordinates ESL Programs and is the Director of Global Connections. With Dr. Slesaransky-Poe, she helped design and implement the first year of Arcadia’s Annual Inclusion Institute and now serves as the Research Coordinator for the project. Her research interests include citizenship and citizenship education for diverse members of US society, immigrant education, biliteracy, and the role of the legal system in educational policy.
