The Fathering Festival celebrated fathers, supporting them towards fuller and deeper engagement in their childrens’ lives and in building more equitable parenting practices with mothers and other parenting partners. The Fathering Festival included performances of Spoken Word, Dance and Theater, and film screenings, based on fathers’ stories from throughout Philadelphia. Parenting workshops and forums to support fathers and families were offered. The Fathering Festival was a collaborative project of the Fathering Circle, organized by Eric Marsh, Les Rivera, and Billy Yalowitz.
