Despina Costalas is an Administrative Intern for Philadelphia Assembled. By trade, she is an artist focusing primarily on photography of the fine arts and photojournalism. She is interested in topics concerning politics and culture expressed through use of more alternative photographic processes such as cyanotypes, Van Dyke Brown and simply analog photography.

Despina is originally from Greece and naturalized in the Washington D.C area. She is a Temple University alumni receiving a BA in International Politics and Urban Policy as well as BFA in Photography from Tyler School of Art.
