Anna is an intern in the Contemporary Art Department at the Philadelphia Museum of Art who will be helping to facilitate the documentation of Philadelphia Assembled through organizing the project archive. Anna is currently a senior at Temple University, studying Photography at Tyler School of Art. While not born in Philadelphia, Anna was raised just outside the city after being adopted from Russia at the age of two. Following time spent in Harrisburg, Anna decided to return to Philadelphia for her undergraduate studies. As a senior at Tyler, Anna is in the process of exploring Photography as a medium, and, more generally, her role in the arts. Religion and women’s rights are driving forces in her practice.
