Water Ways and the River's Timeline

What stories do the rivers have to tell? Join us for an afternoon in which we explore the rights, struggles, and victories of our region's water and all who depend upon it. The first portion of this workshop will be a presentation of Water Ways, an illustrated exploration of the impacts the natural gas industry (aka fracking) has on this region's human and more-than-human communities and ecosystems.

After that, we will collectively create the River's Timeline and add it to the Philadelphia Assembled City Panorama. Through reflection and research, we will add personal river stories, regional events, and geohistorical milestones.

Facilitated by Bri Barton and Meg Lemieur
