Experimental Farm Network will host a teach-in and farm tour. Attendees will learn about EFN's efforts to preserve rare seeds, breed new crop varieties (the old-fashioned way), and build an open-source research network to collaboratively develop new crops and growing techniques to both adapt to climate change and fight it. The Mobile Futures Institute is imagined as a backdrop for a presentation, as an interior location for recording video or audio testimonials of attendees, and a physical manifestation of our connection to the broader Futures atmosphere and PHLA (itself appearing in photos and videos from the day).
