Herman Davis is an entrepreneur and community activist. Herman is also committed to serving the needs of individuals and families affected by violence. His work advocating against violence and its plague on the urban community is a labor of love. Davis found himself becoming a violence prevention activist out of necessity after his sister was murdered. Davis’ sister, Theresa Linda Davis, the mother of 3 small children was murdered in 1985 at the age of 25 by her husband. In an instant his Sister’s children became motherless and fatherless. Davis is known for his enigmatic smile, energetic personality and his huge commitment to make a positive impact in lives of families,boys and girls everywhere.

Davis has worked tirelessly on the development of the Youth Council for Peace and Love establishing an art based therapeutic way to encourage our youth to make better choices when faced with a challenge. Encouraging youth to use the arts as a vehicle for change – whether visual, spoken word, or lyrical art, etc.... Peace and Love has visited more than 50 schools throughout the tri-state area and as far away as Virginia Sate University sharing the power of Peace and Love and encouraging youth to give Peace a Try. While Davis’ commitment to the positive promotion of World Peace and non-violence defines his commitment to make a positive impact in his community and the world his entrepreneurial endeavors are also woven with a commitment to change the lives of women. As the Chief Operations Officer of Girlfriends, an exclusive venue for women specializing in Girls Night Out. Davis, In 2015, Davis aunched Peace+Love WorldWide an extension of Peace+Love with life skill programs. Davis along with partner Ibn Anderson launched Do Better Brands.

Davis is a family man married for more than 10 years to his wife Tameaka Davis and is the father of 3 beautiful daughters and a son. His love for family and his work at home is the foundation for the love and support Davis shares with children all throughout the communities he serves. This independently taught entrepreneur worked in the health care industry as a material management manager for more than 10 years before stepping out to change the world and the lives of women everywhere.
