Reconstructions Working Group members and Reconstruction Inc., a re-entry program located in the Philadelphia neighborhood of Nicetown/Tioga, and their affiliated program, the Alumni Ex-Offenders Association (AEA), organized one of the Reconstructions sites. This site found its central location at the Reconstruction Inc. meeting space, 1808 Tioga Street. The Reconstructions working group envisioned this site as a space where healing and conflict resolution were both embodied and enacted, as individuals participated in the co-production of a new justice paradigm, free from the chains of the “prison industrial complex.”
