/reconstructions This public site, entitled "Blueprint for a Just Neighborhood," was created in collaboration with affordable housing advocates, Women’s Community Revitalization Project, Philadelphia Coalition for Affordable Communities, Healthy Rowhouse Project, and a number of individuals. The site itself was a point of departure to address the city’s urgent issues of gentrification and displacement. At this location at 4th and Master Streets in Olde/South Kensington, situated between a community garden, new and old row homes, a park and a community center, Philadelphia Assembled built a dynamic presentation space, constructed to resemble the first floor of an affordable house. This space presented personal housing narratives woven with data that corresponded to Philadelphia’s rapidly changing housing market.
Besides special events the site was open from 12:00 – 5:00 p.m. on June 3, 10, 17 & July 1, 8, 15
