The whole family is invited to this interactive workshop that highlights family histories, cultural identity, and the materials that make up the fabric of a community. Parents, mentors, and youth will learn how to knit their past lives and future dreams together into fabric that could become a novelty for the home, shared with families in other countries, and/or displayed here in Philadelphia as an artistic expression of unity and sovereignty.
