Michaela Pommells is an anti-racist activist and educator working in schools and communities to build their capacity to recognize and resist racism. She also assists organizations with the implementation of diversity, equity, and inclusion policies into their practices. She regularly presents at interdisciplinary conferences and community lectures on anti-racism and education.

In 2011, Michaela co-founded the Coalition for Racial Justice (CoRaJus), a collaborative of neighbors, leaders, and institutions organized to eliminate race-based disparities in Philadelphia. She blogs for Huffington Post on issues related to education, school-to-prison pipeline, and mass incarceration.
