Meet our Culinary Artists with Laquanda Dobson
Join mother-daughter duo Jarzette and Laquanda Dobson for an intergenerational cooking class on making love-filled food with what you’ve got.
This cooking class will involve Jarzette demonstrating how she, as a single mom, used the ingredients she had to make salmon cakes when Quan was a kid. Quan, a community chef and food educator, will then demonstrate her take on salmon cakes. She feels victorious when she is able to teach affordable and delicious recipes that honor her mom, are rooted in her childhood, and filled with love and fresh ingredients.
